Rare and unusual books on all subjects

Welcome to Wool House Books
(specialising in Manuscript Material)

If like me you are fascinated by catalogues, and read them with the avidity of a good novel then please enter the site and browse
at your leisure. Entering a website like this should be like entering a good second hand book shop; you never know what you might
stumble across.

I can't promise you that title you are looking for, but I think I can promise there is a good chance you will find something
interesting, something that you haven't seen before; something that might take you down a path that you had no idea existed.
Maybe an author will be new to you; maybe an odd take on a familiar subject will draw your attention. I have a particular interest
in manuscript material; diaries, letters, etc; material which opens a window onto the past. It is the kind of material which I hope
will appeal especially to historians, who represent the ideal destination for such items.

I shall be writing a regular blog on various aspects of bookselling, and the books that I am selling, and I would be grateful for any
comments you might have. Click on the tab upper right for the blog.

For Book Fairs at which I will be exhibiting, events and latest news, see What's New.
